Without a doubt, Surfer Girls Kick Ass this is a must-read book for girls that surf or anyone that just LOVES a great story. The Eat Pray Love of books for surfers. I got an advanced copy of this book and could not put it down! I read the whole novel in 3 days on my tiny mobile phone on the beach in Thailand!
Trust me, you need to read this book!
A very relatable feel-good story for surfers and non-surfers alike. You won’t want to put the book down!

What is the book about?
Zoe Smith is flailing in her career as a professional surfer on the WSL (World Surf League)… as well as in her relationship with Derek. She doesn’t like the person she’s become and needs to make a change. But what?
Stuck in a funk, she heads home to Australia at the end of the competitive season, uncertain of her future. Will the end of her relationship also signify the end of her career?
Determined to get to the root cause of her drama she realizes it’s time to face her ‘self’ and make some difficult decisions.
With the help of a best friend, a boy crush, a strange encounter with an angel, and some much-needed soul-searching, she finds herself on a magical journey out of the darkness and into the light, in surfing and in life.
What I loved about this book?
It has been a while since I read a totally captivating story. One that I just couldn’t put down. This story is definitely one of those. Despite our drastic differences in surfing ability, I could totally relate to the lead character and what she was going through. Her experiences made me reflect on things that I was going through in my life: my relationships, goals, and aspirations, following through on what makes me happy. It gave me so much to think about.
If you know a girl that surfs, I swear this would be a wonderful thoughtful present to give her. Tiffany the author has done a wonderful job!
