The WSL has Canceled Mavericks: Are politics to blame?
Still Stoked made the decision to remove the article titled ‘The WSL has Canceled Mavericks: Are politics to blame?’ out of respect for the people involved.
It is hoped that we all share the same goal: To inspire more ladies to surf. To ensure we are given equal opportunities to perform in both free surfs and competitions worldwide. That we can build long, successful careers from our surfing talents, and that women’s surfing continues to push the boundaries of progression in the sport that we so love, in a safe, and sustainable way.
If all parties are working towards this same goal, then we are better together. We asked the question ‘were politics involved?’, sadly it would seem, that might be the case.
