Top performing mountaineer Kit Deslauriers is all about the turmeric, and for good reason


Kit Deslauriers is a bad-ass American ski-mountaineer. She was the first person to ski down the Seven Summits. Yup, that includes skiing from 29,035 feet of Mount Everest! She was also the first woman to have won two consecutive World Freeskiing Champion titles, in 2004 and 2005.

Personally, I am a huge fan of turmeric in my diet so I totally get my Kit has a turmeric tea as part of her diet. I find it especially important when I’m training, injured or feeling a bit run down.
