Ski mountaineer Kit Deslauriers' superfood turmeric tea recipe


Kit Deslauriers is a bad-ass American ski-mountaineer. She was the first person to ski down the Seven Summits. Yup, that includes skiing from 29,035 feet of Mount Everest! She was also the first woman to have won two consecutive World Freeskiing Champion titles, in 2004 and 2005.


She has written an amazing book that is well worth a read called Higher Love: Skiing the seven summits


Personally, I am a huge fan of turmeric in my diet. Especially when I’m training, injured or feeling a bit run down. It has so many anti-inflammatory properties that are great to add to your diet when you are injured.
