Having sponsors that truly support you is a wonderful thing. Especially if you’re a female surfer trying to qualify for the World Tour like Philippa Anderson. Just securing the essentials like a surf coach or fitness trainer, and getting to all the events around the World can cost up to $50,000 a year.

Last year Australian surfer Philippa Anderson ran a crowd sourcing campaign to help raise some of these funds, and now her sponsor TapaReef is stepping up to show their support. You can too, by purchasing a GREAT product that every girl needs in her surf beach-bag, TapaReef sunscreen remover face wipes.

If you stock up on this great product in July, TapaReef will donate 25% of all July sales to Philippa Anderson’s campaign. She needs $4,500 to get her to the next surf competition in Oceanside, California. Philippa is currently sitting in 15th place on the global qualifying rankings, and if she does well in California, she could very well earn a top 5 stop to qualify for the World Tour next year!

Oceanside, being the second last stop, is a very important event. I’ve done well every year there, so hopefully my luck can continue.

– Philippa Anderson in an interview with TapaReef

TapaReef is an all-natural facial wipe that removes waterproof and zinc-based sunscreens with minimal mess, using natural ingredients. They are produced on 100% biodegradable and compostable cloth from cellulose grown in responsibly managed forests. Basically, they are all round goodness and great for your post surf skin after a sun-baked surf session (full product review to come soon as I’m testing them out here in Central America – I LOVE THEM).

A pouch of 25 towelettes costs $10.99 and 10 individual sachets will cost you $8.99.

You can buy them online on the TapaReef website or in Hawaii or Australia – here’s a list of stockists.

GOOD LUCK AT OCEANSIDE PHILZY!!!
