“Show a little skin. Flaunt a lot of colour. And never give them what they’re expecting.”
The trend in fashionable, surf-functional water-wear, continues with the new Roxy POP SURF collection. The AW15 range sees more daring cuts brought into the line with this awesome palm print and stripe design. The collection uses recycled materials and the very latest technology, and features classic Roxy one piece silhouettes as well as some brand new shapes. When the water heats up, I love ditching my 2mm spring suit and swapping it for a rash-vest one-piece with long arms (so I don’t burn). Great to see Roxy adding this piece to their range (O’Neill have been making this the last few seasons and I’m a huge fan).
The Roxy girls surf team in the new POP Surf collection
In addition to the Roxy POP SURF collection, they have also launched a cute performance range for AW15. In their fifth season of the ‘adventure ready’ range, they have combined all technical elements such as UV sun protection, water repellent fabrics, soft flatlock seams for reduced chafing, quick drying fabrics, four way stretch, zone mesh ventilation, and moisture wicking fabric. The collection has wind break jackets for all weather, over-layered shorts on leggings (which if you ask me, is a bit weird!), as well as making some improvements to their yoga range. The performance collection is designed by women in fitness, for women in fitness, meaning every detail have a purpose to give maximum comfort without loosing style.
